This egg cooker does a really good job of cooking all types of boiled eggs with minimal effort, although there are a few points to note - and I'm sure other reviewers have, but I'm throwing it in my $0.02... The timer works great but it really needs a beep or a bell or something. If you run this in a quiet room, you can absolutely hear the ending, as there's an audible click as it shuts down... but there's no ringing or ringing - this feature can actually be useful. The detachable parts are dishwasher safe, which is great, but the base itself is discolored and stained from water and anything on the outside of the eggs evaporating during cooking. The base can be cleaned, but users should be careful not to get the electronics wet as they are not waterproof. Also, you have to really scrub the base to clean it, which isn't easy as it needs to stay dry. Also, this little gadget works very well.
