When I opened the box I was impressed with the packaging, very strong and well protected. The workmanship looks good, the chrome feels just as high quality and the plastic is just as solid. Mirrors aren't as optically correct as the stock mirrors - there's a slight ripple on the glass, but that doesn't distract me much. Before installation, you need to cut the front stud. I screwed the nut to the bottom of the thread and then shortened the bolt to just over half the original length. When the nut was removed, the threads were plugged at the cut, making it easier to rethread the nut during installation. I noticed a significant difference in the number of wires between the stock mirror and this one. There are many more cables in stock. After installation, I noticed that the memory function does not work on these new mirrors. Damn. Minus one star. And I'm still not sure if the defrost function works. After installation, I noticed more vibration in the glass than stock mirrors. This isn't scary either, it doesn't bother looking after it, but I notice it. So between cutting off a mounting pin, no memory, glass distortion and vibration, I have to deduct 2 stars. Despite that, I think these mirrors are good value for money and would buy them again if needed.
