These are not noise cancelling. They are just noise reduction.

I need noise cancelling earmuffs for my kid before the 4th of July. These were advertised as noise cancelling, and they are not. Noise cancelling ear protection effectively increases protection as noise volume increases, while allowing low volume conversation to take place. I specifically looked for "noise cancelling" and spent more thinking that these were correctly named. I don't know if I will be able to get the right ones in time so I am stuck with these.

They are also incredibly easy to clean, making them a hassle-free addition to your child's routine

They may require batteries, leading to ongoing maintenance costs
