Overall a great product! It heats up fairly quickly, is a decent size (not too big), works well and is overall worth the investment. The way the bristles are arranged won't burn or scald your skin unless you naturally leave them in one place for a long time. As long as you use it as intended with even strokes, you shouldn't have a problem burning your hair, but remember that beard care and grooming is also important when heating your beard.
