Works well if you follow the instructions online. They should provide more detailed instructions along with the product. You must constantly dip the brushes in water when cleaning a HOT grill. Does a great job of removing dirt without leaving those nasty bits of metal behind. I've also used a cedar scraper before which did a great job of leaving no chunks but was terrible at cleaning the grill. it does both.
