I bought this because it was bluetooth. But you still need to keep it plugged in, as the USB needs to be plugged in (not charging) for the speaker to work. Which, ironically, is somehow connected to the USB cable. * the sound of a hand slapping his forehead at the engineer's failure. Since I couldn't use it wirelessly, I went along with it. I've been using it for 2-3 days when all of a sudden it says it's connected and the sound cuts out. Even without adjusting the Bluetooth setting, this happened again and again. I turned off all bluetooth options on all devices one by one to see if it connects to a random device. But no, it's not. Whatever it connects, it's not our device. It's just not possible at the moment. I refuse to spend any more time fixing this faulty device. At $15.99, it's not expensive, but it doesn't work at all either. I can buy a $5 wired speaker with the same options and it actually works and stops connecting to the ghost phone.
