Bad: Not UL listed. This device has spring loaded cable connectors. If you want to connect wires from a convenient box, you need to add wires. No grounding. Therefore, it has no surge protection. Bad documentation. It didn't specify how big the wire could be or how far it should be stripped. This cable terminal block is not sealed very well, I would not use it in a permanently wet location. Not designed to directly affect the insulation. It works really cool, so it's not a problem, but that's not what it's designed for. Pros: Inexpensive. Very low power consumption - 24 W. Very easy to install. The mounting bracket can be attached to a handy box or directly to a flat surface. Overall a good amount of warm, relaxing, well diffused light that's very evenly distributed. I would say this is the equivalent of 3 standard lightbulbs. They are great for utility rooms. They're simple and practical, so I wouldn't use them in all areas, but they're a lot better than regular lightbulbs.
