This isn't our first shock collar so I can definitely appreciate some of the attributes of this collar over others. The most important thing is the battery life. The last collar had to be charged almost every night (both remote and collar). There was only one charger included in the kit so they had to be charged separately. This collar doesn't need to be charged as often. When not in use, it goes into sleep mode to save battery. Also, it's a dual charging cable so I can charge both at the same time. Other properties of the collar are also excellent. The presence of a sound, vibration and shock mode is a must when training a puppy.
