The pictures lead me to believe that I can remove the rubber caps to add long steel heads for my long haired dog but no, 100% conductive silicone if they take it off , it's garbage. So for short haired dogs

Amazing battery life. Very responsive and very comfortable. My Beagle is already noticing the alert tone and rapid vibration. I only had to shock him once. I'm so glad it has a vibration function. Good product

The battery life on these things is amazing. I have a dog that barks all the time and we just vibrate it and it stops right away. Works great for a callback when your dog walks around during your camping trip, vibrates when I call my pup's name and he comes back to me every time.

I had to turn the shock up to 99 to get my long haired dog to react a bit. My short haired dog has the same reaction level at level 30. He doesn't need it, but she does. Strongly considering returning just because she needs a collar and this one doesn't fit.

This product works as it should and is very good value for money. I wish the collar was made out of a more comfortable material than the somewhat hard plastic. I would also like contact points of different sizes and designs to meet the needs of dogs with different coat lengths and training needs. After using it with one trainer for a while I bought a second one. All settings must be on the same level. You may not want the discharge to be as high as the sound. Not me. Apart from the plastic collar, this training collar is not bad. This is such a good unit. I don't understand why they included a cheap plastic collar. To fix this I upgraded the collar attachment to the old Invisible Fence collar and it works much better as it has a quick release buckle. In general, the collar and transponder work well. This isn't our first shock collar so I can definitely appreciate some of the attributes of this collar over others. The most important thing is the battery life. The last collar had to be charged almost every night (both remote and collar). There was only one charger included in the kit so they had to be charged separately.
