Not a good design - they tried to copy a more expensive one and forgot something.
No channel to brace the metal when unscrewed - which means the metal pieces can "drop" - which means they touch - which means it connects. Got it to work for my use - but it'll definitely not keep the battery disconnected if there is any movement or vibration.
