The ratchets have a little more play in the joints then a snap on or matco. I beat on my gearwrench all day in a shop and my co-worker breaks his matco all the time. The matco equivalent is a very nice ratchet just cost $190 for the 3/8 only. Just get 2 sets if you do not want down time. The matco truck where I work will take care of both tools warranties. Dealers choice. matco little more price little more comfort. gearwrench a lot less cost and I love mine sometime I use the weight of the 17inch half inch drive for a drain plug to look like a goof ball
