I used this KVM switch normally for about a year, then my monitor started having weird problems. The problem was intermittent and at first I thought it was a cable issue or an issue with my ground dock. Over the next year, random blackouts became frequent blackouts and then regular blackouts. I've swapped out cables, monitors, surface docks, laptops, desktops, etc. and found that the DVI output was broken. I'm disappointed that I paid almost $200 for a device that didn't last more than a year before it broke.
