I'm not a scientist. for amino acids

but I assume this stuff does what it's supposed to do. This package offers good value for money as it weighs 2.2 pounds and is cheaper than its competitors. So overall I am very happy with my purchase. Now the real secret lies in how to use this material properly. There seems to be some suggestions as to what liquids are best to cover up that bloody awful taste. Here's what I've tried with 2 teaspoons of the mix: - 17 ounces of water with 1 packet of artificial sugar orange Hawaiian punch mix - 17 ounces of water with 1 1/2 bags of artificial sugar Hawaiian punch mix - I've started making 1 and 1/2 with various mixes of Hawaiian punch mix. none of them work very well - I also tried plain water, it was definitely useless. However, today I found that 1 teaspoon of arginine powder about 8 ounces of strong orange juice works very well. Much of the powder's flavor was hidden. The only downside to this is that you have to do it twice a day as the dosage is 2 teaspoons a day. But as far as I'm concerned, any really strong, acidic juice will mask the horribly overpowering taste of arginine well enough for it to be quickly absorbed. In fact, with 1 teaspoon of the mix, OJ tastes like the beginning of Orange Julius, except for the lingering aftertaste. Anyway, let me know if any of you find a better way to get rid of this stuff. I'm interested in trying something that will help. Many Thanks. **** TO UPDATE. I think I found the easiest and most efficient way to get this thing. A small glass containing 2 teaspoons of the powder mixture, about 2 ounces of water (enough for a quick sip). Then drink a second glass with about 3-4 ounces of orange juice. Drink the mixture quickly, then slowly sip a small amount of OJ. Do it fast, like a band-aid.

Pros
  • Protein Metabolism*/Nitric Oxide Precursor*: Arginine supports protein metabolism and is actively involved in muscle metabolism through its role in maintaining proper nitrogen balance. Juice or water, preferably on an empty stomach.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
