Just a little big
I'll only give it a 4 because it's a little big because it doesn't quite fit the filter. I've even tried without the hard plastic attached to the glass. It still didn't fit perfectly. I have a 40 gallon filter and a 40 gallon aquarium. So if you buy it for a 40 tank breeder, it will be slightly larger by a few inches. I will still use it. In addition, it is a very good glass vessel for the aquarium.
