Got this for my 2005 CR-V EX with manual transmission. I have a Kenwood head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto installed and the female USB cable has nowhere to connect. I tried cutting the slot but the connector broke so I found this and tried it and it's just what I need! It fits snugly in an empty spot, is a bit tight to install, but that means it goes nowhere and looks almost factory made. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto continue to work flawlessly!
