Not too bright at all.

I read all the reviews before buying this flashlight and a lot of people exclaimed how bright it is. The manufacturer even states 100 lumens. WOW, this is what I wanted for those day rides in the bright sunshine. If I'm not missing anything here, it's no brighter than a 1993 Trek 3 LED 2 AA light I was looking to replace. In the photo, the top light is my old Trek, the bottom is a Line-120R at 20ft. It's light when you're in your house and looking at it in your hand. I can see it in my darker garage when the sun is shining, but if I put my bike in the sun and walk back 50 feet I can see it, but I'm not sure if the bike was more visible at 250 feet than the light. About as bright as my old Trek flashlight in the sun. While driving my car, I overtake bikes with very bright taillights within a quarter mile of me. This isn't one of them. You will see a bike in front of the light. I can stand 6 feet away and it's still easy on the eyes. I hope it's just me or my light is broken but I'll be back. On the plus side, it's viewable from a wide angle. I can't say how long the battery lasts as I don't have enough time to check it.
