Review on πŸ”ͺ Polishing Sharpening Woodcarving Tool: SHARPAL 204N by Steven Ferguson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The skin is very smooth and hardly absorbs the hard dry composition. Additional efforts are required.

UPDATE: A helpful tip I've learned when applying makeup is to rub some mineral oil into your skin. The mineral oil acts as a solvent for the formulation, helping it penetrate the skin and spread evenly. Now I have a good durable mix coat on the leather and am upgrading the Sharpal line from 3 to 4 stars. Original Review: Whether you prefer your leather sling smooth or a little grainy is a personal choice, I understand. This one is very smooth as if it has been polished. As a result, it doesn't accept the connection very easily. Also, the mix that came with my order is very dry and hard - much more so than other green mixes I've used. The combination of the dry compound and very smooth leather makes the band difficult to adjust properly. I first rubbed in as much of the compound as I could (almost quite a bit), then melted it slightly with a heat gun to spread it out. , just to give it a bit of grit. This makes it more effective overall, although the composition involved is still an issue. I bought this kit because it looked convenient, but it ended up being too much extra hassle. I would recommend buying a completely different brand.

Pros
  • βœ… NON-SLIP: We have attached non-slip mats to the underside of the device. The wood doesn't move when you sharpen the knife. This reduces the difficulty of sharpening the knife and increases safety.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
