For the price point, a great asset for people who travel.

Searched high and low for a lightweight backpack with an opening in the back and a side packet to take on a recent trip to Hawaii. This bag has two side pockets which fit your standard 16.9oz water bottle. If you are looking to use a reusable water container, just make sure that it is narrow at the bottom. The interior has four useful pockets and one zipper compartment to organize your items. I do wish the side by side pockets were just slightly wider; my sunglasses are quite large so they barely fit in the one pocket without their case. I never used the shoulder strap as it kept falling off my shoulder--also be aware that the strap is not long enough to carry as a cross body. (In all fairness, the seller does not advertise this as a cross body bag). Some metal feet on the bottom of the bag would be a valuable addition. After about 1 month of constant use, the material on the bottom edge has worn off. Nevertheless, for the price, this bag is a great asset when traveling!

I cannot speak to the safety or waterproof aspects. I bought this for everyday mommy-backpack purposes. I got the medium for reference. It holds about as much as a small/medium purse would, but some of the space at the top is not really accessible unless you cram things in. My only real complaint is the pockets. The interior pockets are narrow and tall, so small items I usually put in pockets (lip balms, ear buds, etc) can’t go in there because I cannot fish them out with one finger. I also wish the outside zipper pocket was a little bigger because it barely fits my iPhone 11.
