I have to admit I doubted this would work for MY Yorkie. She is 7 years old and a very restless traveler. Usually they whine and cry. I have never found a way to travel with her that would be comfortable for both of us. My wife and I recently bought fat bikes and she always hates it when we leave them at home. But leaving her is easier than watching her suffer from travel stress and anxiety. We received the carrier the next day! We took the time to adjust the straps to the correct length and I felt comfortable wearing the harness. I love how they use side zippers and velcro. The stretcher can be unfolded so that it is not difficult to place the dog in it. I was shocked at how she had settled in after a brief moment of struggle (which I now think she was just getting used to wearing). Absolutely not confusing. We got on our bikes and rode for 45 minutes. She seems to be enjoying it! I was so amazed. I can finally take my baby with me and not have to worry about his anxiety. The backpack looks well made. Recommended by the New York Times as one of the best pet carriers. I literally followed the measurement guidelines and chose the average size for my 8 lb Yorkie. She fits perfectly. I am very grateful for the solution of a longstanding problem.
