I bought this leash for my dog who has anger issues. He loves to swim but I can't let him off the leash if a strange dog comes in sight. My puppy disappears and/or attacks another dog. I use this rope attached to his collar, throw the ball in the water, float it out and get it. If I throw the ball longer than the line, it can easily swim out and the line swims perfectly behind it. Once he's in range again, I have enough time to grab my leash before he runs away. For camping, I tie this line around a small tree and let it roam free within reach of the line. The beautiful bright orange line keeps me from getting addicted to it and it's good to see at night too.
