Bought this digital meat sensor to use when using my pellet grill. This is pretty accurate to a 5-7 degree difference between the sensor and the indoor BBQ thermometer. Don't forget to hang a temperature probe next to your internal thermometer for the most accurate reading, if you have one. There are a number of meat settings, which is handy. The range of the wireless receiver is around 30 feet outdoors, which isn't so good when walking between walls. Comes with batteries, I haven't had to change them after about 2 months of sporadic use. All in all, this is a good tool.
