Someone may enjoy it, but I can't bring myself to play with that fan screaming at me. The volume was up the whole time. One-day prefix, freestanding installation. There is silence from the menu. However, when you run games like Final Fantasy 15, for instance, it begins to create noise and the fan speed keeps fluctuating. Sony's customer service just shrugs and says the fan noise is normal. Oh, and in the beginning there was also a very distinct odor of burnt varnish. There is also a newer, slimmer version that does not have these issues. It's unfortunate that Sony has begun to prioritize quantity over quality.
