As the name suggests, this material is excellent for darkening plastics and car interiors. However, it spreads very easily and can be messy when applied. My advice is to tape off the edges before applying this to the finish, use gloves and have a damp towel handy to wipe up any accidents you have. It's best to take your time with the foam applicator, but I found it easier to apply with the round foam applicator pad on the included foam brush. Just take your time applying the product and use multiple coats to avoid streaks! The lifespan of the product is great and I have had no problems applying the product to paint in the past.
