3D Sound Audio Controller good sound, but….

It took a while to test this item because a pop was heard ONLY when starting up, restarting and shutting down the computer. I'm testing this unit on a Windows 10 mini pc and the output jack of the mini pc was acting up and only playing one channel so I needed a good USB audio controller to connect it to the computer's USB port. At first I thought that the problem might be because my speaker-to-monitor cable isn't working properly, but replacing it with a new one didn't solve the problem. Then I thought maybe it was a mini PC so I connected the 3D Sound audio controller to another fully functional desktop PC with a newer 10th Gen Intel motherboard with USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. Test results were the same when turning the computer on and off. It's not an annoying popping noise, but I definitely heard it. It didn't matter if I turned the volume up or down on the computer because the popping sound was still there. I also did a final test by connecting a pair of headphones to the 3D Sound audio controller and got the same results when turning the computer on and off. Final Thoughts: This unit sounds fine through my monitor's speakers after the audio is stopped. Another thought is that my monitor's audio turns on automatically when the computer boots up. The sound quality is crisp and clear when listening to video and audio, and if I had a separate audio amplifier and left it turned off before starting the computer, everything would be fine.
