captures light very well. I used it for night time photography and the colors were very good. The only problem is that the autofocus is a bit odd. I have some photos in blur. Updated: After a few years of use (though not much) the focus ring and its noise were very loud. The clicking sound is very loud, I can hear it from 2 feet away. I thought this lens would have this design, but each time it got louder. And one fine day the auto focus stopped working, the MF ring also turned very hard. Only 17mm is sharp and if you zoom in to other 20-35mm it's fuzzy. Thrown away. No repair is required - image quality degrades over time.
