Moisturizing or constipated?

I love how moisturizing this product is, but I've realized it's TOO moisturizing. What I mean is that it almost creates a pour on my hair without making it soft and smooth. Rougher and heavier even if I only shampoo once a week. I don't take more than a drop either. If anyone has a similar problem, I'd appreciate feedback.
