Received our new, brick red, 9 ft umbrella yesterday. I was immediately impressed by the thank you letter enclosed and two thoughtful cards. One indicated to please contact Wikiwiki customer service instead of Ebay if there were any questions, concerns or issues with the umbrella. Included was a sticker to place on the frame of the umbrella with Wikiwiki’s customer service contact information and a place to write our order # so we would always have the information easily accessible in case we ever needed to contact them in the future.( What a great idea and a testament to how much the company cares about their customers.) The other card had a text # to claim a free extra canopy fabric. What a nice surprise and gift! While unpacking it I noticed some of the stitching around the top vent area was loose and a bit frayed. Worried it would unravel more over time, and as suggested on their card, I contacted the company via text. Less than 12 hours later I received a reply. They were very apologetic for the issue with my umbrella. To be honest, I was expecting them to indicate they would just send me a new canopy or request I go back through Ebay to arrange a refund and reorder. However, they went far beyond my expectations and are sending me an entirely new umbrella indicating they didn’t want to inconvenience me further by me having to attach a new canopy to the frame, nor did they want me to suffer further delays or inconvenience by going through Ebay to arrange a return and reshipment. They have already sent me a new one. It is obvious that this company truly cares and takes pride in their product. I have to say they have succeeded in providing the "world class customer service” as indicated in their card and they have fantastic team of people with the desire to make sure their customers are happy with their purchase. The stitching issues were isolated to the top vent fabric area, and I know that type of thing happens sometimes during production, but their response and desire to easily resolve the issue for me has given me extreme confidence I made the right choice by choosing Wikiwiki. With the high temperatures expected over the next couple of weeks to be in the high 90s and low 100s, it is nice to know we will have the continued benefit and use of an umbrella to provide some much needed shade while we wait for the replacement. We love the brick red color even though it was second choice to the forrest green that was out of stock. The umbrella appears the be very sturdy with enough weight to help keep it in place along with our weighted base. Easy to crank up and down and tilt side to side. Also love the fact it has Velcro straps on the end to hang decorative lights.
