I really appreciate the small size of this sponge holder. It fits seamlessly onto the sink ledge next to the rim of our kitchen sink. A regular sized kitchen sponge will fit in either piece, although we currently only have one sponge and two green SOS pads. The crossbars come in handy for draping and drying SOS pads. Drainage is the best feature, the mesh keeps the sponge up so you don't have to work hard to keep the sponge dry. I was worried that over time the stainless steel would become uncoated or crack, which can happen in seven or eight years, but everything is looking really good now. Bonus Feature: The gray and white look works well in my kitchen without drawing too much attention to the spot in the kitchen. I look forward to using this device for several years. My only real complaint, although it would have made this item larger, is the space for the soap dish, but I can easily find another spot for my washing up liquid.
