I needed a cable that converts a DVI-D signal to a VGA signal. I looked around for cables that would do just that and found this product to be the best in terms of price, reviews, and length. I especially needed a cable that was at least 6 feet long since the monitor I was connected to was about 4 feet from the computer. The cable was long enough and the picture was as expected. No signal loss, artefacts or similar was detected. In fact, the picture looks like it's just a VGA cable, which is what I expected. I would like to find a longer cable at a reasonable price, but I couldn't find one. It will work fine though and I can always find a VGA extender for the VGA end of this cable or vice versa for the DVI-D end later in the future. my friends. This cable met my needs well!
