I wasn't expecting much from these knives for the price, but I was blown away by how sharp they are and how affordable they are. We actually have two, one with an aluminum handle and one with a black plastic handle. It should be noted that the aluminum handle will oxidize if placed in the dishwasher (this can be remedied by cleaning with steel wool). I know many people don't wash their knives in the dishwasher, but I have a lot of work with young children and sometimes I can't hand wash my knives, so I ordered the plastic handle version of this knife. The size is perfect for small jobs like slicing apples or slicing tomatoes. And these are the sharpest knives we have. I recommend them without hesitation.
