Why buy a bubble level? Use this to make sure the plane you set is correct, but if the plane you're using isn't pointing at a really flat surface, what you're using it for will be wrong. These are great little handy devices, but unfortunately I didn't have much control over how they were made. After seeing the reviews I was skeptical, but the price was so cheap I thought I might ask them if I could use a couple of these as a handy addition to my range finder to make sure my rifle's scopes are correct are aligned. . When 6 levels arrived I installed them on a pair of 4 foot levels set perfectly level. I used two to make sure what I tested them with was accurate. I placed each on long tiers and rotated each to check each of its four sides. Only 3 out of 6 could measure the level, and each of them was level in only one rotational position. The other was almost level at one position so I glued it to the magnet and adjusted it so that it now reads flush with the glued magnet base. I marked the others so I know the only rotation position I need to use correctly. I just throw the other two away. If you're willing to put in the effort I just made about half of these can be made to work, otherwise they're just inaccurate and lead you crookedly to this mount no matter what you use them for. Per.
