Small and compact camera. Convenient for travel and just to have with you just in case (this is for those who often take pictures and do not know when such a case will come). Different pros: I'm not one of those people who will write a bunch of terms, numbers and specifications. I am an experienced amateur photographer. I took the camera for video shooting. I used to use Pentax K-7, but when shooting a video, my hands constantly got tired, the image trembled. M50 even without a stabilizer is light, just a feather! Shoots great. The crop interferes somewhat, but this is fixable by purchasing additional devices. The image quality is excellent, the built-in stabilization is quite good. As for the menu, when switching from the Pentax manual to Canon, there were no overlays - everything is very easy to understand. The only thing that has not yet been possible is to establish a connection between the camera and the phone. But I guess it will get better with time. Has cons: For video shooting, it is better to immediately stock up on a second battery.
