I needed a bird beak knife this is cheap and decent looking. The handle is comfortable, the blade is quite sharp, the sheath is comfortable to the touch so as not to damage the blade. Not much more than I can ask for. However, I'm deducting 2 stars because of the ridiculous amount of packaging and other "things" that come with the knife. There was the knife itself, in a cardboard box with a foam liner, then an information booklet, a cardboard sleeve, a microfiber cloth with a plastic sleeve, and a metal needle with its own plastic bag. Maybe I missed something, I'm not sure. All of this is completely unnecessary and only serves to produce more waste. I don't need an information booklet for a paring knife. I don't need a foam sheath, especially when it comes with a sheath already, I don't need and want a microfiber cloth when buying a knife, and most importantly I don't want a brand name and logo pin on the thread.
