This product is a great idea but some aspects of execution leave room for improvement/learning. First, the ratchet fitting is recessed so it cannot be used with a mere ratchet, a short extension is needed. This adds a few inches to the height of the combination and causes ground clearance issues on some vehicles. My Toyota has a small plastic panel that can be removed from the entire underbody for an oil change, but the extra length of the extension would require removing the entire underbody, which is a major hassle when working on ramps. Second, the interior is stepped so it fits multiple filters, but doesn't slide "cleanly" and securely, and it's easy to pull to one side, which isn't secure for intended use, but can also jam and remove difficult. aside after removing the filter and using my old wrench to tighten the new one.
