I couldn't resist this book! I love oriental carpets, but of course they are expensive and take up a lot of space. This way I can have the design I love in miniature. The rugs he has selected are beautiful and the design is easy to follow, plus he provides thread color numbers if you wish to use his colours. (This is especially nice if, like me, you live abroad and need to order yarn.) I'd like some advice on how to design other rugs, but it's easy to understand by looking at his design. The book is clearly intended for a narrow market, but if you're into oriental rugs and embroidery, I doubt such a thing exists.
