If you install it right it's very noisy and lasts a long time. Don't look for shortcuts when installing because if you get it right, your money will be back. I had to buy extra cables to get to the battery. I also recommend wire wrap to protect the wires. The clamp adhesive is terrible, so I recommend buying command strips as well. Be sure to check your state's aftermarket alarm laws, but in most cases this can be defined as a controlled alarm system, and you can get away with it. All in all a great siren!
