Different textures.

Watercolors are new to me, but I've tried many different types of paper. For some reason I became obsessed with paper and how different colors responded to all these different brands. I tried about 10 brands in total. Cotton and Pulp, Arts and Student Class. This paper has a different texture that I just don't like. Instead of the bumps and ridges that cold-pressed paper has, it had symmetrical lines running straight up and down the paper. So when the ink is applied it falls in those "straight" lines and just doesn't give the result that I personally like when using cold pressed paper.
