The camera itself is OK. The night vision light blinds it so it cannot actually view out of a window, even if there are street lights outside. The night vision can not be turned off, it will automatically turn on when it believes it is needed. Indoors the night vision works okay. The main problem is the app that comes with it. It's not intuitive, and for whatever reason the ability to review past footage is tied to what the app/camera thinks the timezone should be, so until that is aligned you can't review past footage at all. For a time this camera did work so I could check back and see, but lately something changed so I can no longer view past footage, only current live-feed. I feel like the ability to enter a specific time by hand instead of dragging along a timeline would go a long way as well.Another complaint I have is that there's no easy way to view the footage on the SD Card from a computer. It's saved on the SD Card but seems only viewable through the app, which is a big bummer. I spent awhile trying to figure out how to view the videos (VLC and other free options didn't seem to work for me) so this means that if I did have a need to save footage, I have to go through the app, and then save to my phone. when the footage already exists on the SD in the camera.
