1) Just making reverse osmosis water wastes HUGE amounts of water This fact makes this the WRONG UNIT for me , 2) the filtered water takes too long to fill my coffee pot as I can shower while waiting for 8 cups of water to be made for my coffee pot, 3) I should have understood but didn't know until I did device brought home and read about it, but due to high alkalinity, this water is NOT SUITABLE for CATS to drink, they need acidic water, pH around 6-6.5, 4) This system leaves white crystals in the water, enough, to cover the bottom of my two liter glass jar, it's like snow in a snow globe, it never dissolves in water, and 5) the filtered water has a weirda men blue tint This. 6) Although I use cold water entering the unit, the filtered water comes out very hot, which the instructions say is harmful to the filters. 7) Also, the filtered water leaves the unit through a small pipe, not the faucet head, so you have to deal with the pipe hanging over the sink when not in use. I haven't received a PH tester yet, so I can't say how basic the filtered water actually is. I hope this information is useful to potential buyers. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.
