I wanted this for a trailer backup camera display. I tried a suction cup mount for this large display, but it took up too much space on the windshield. Also, I only need the display when I'm attached to my pendant, so I didn't want it to be "on my face" all the time. Just a few days after installation and it seems to be holding my display well and doesn't shake much even when trying to hit bumps. Honestly, I was expecting more tremors. It comes with four different "legs" that you can slide onto to hold your item. I thought it was a cheap design but it seems to hold up. Additionally, the brackets that the legs attach to are spring-loaded for added tension to keep the display in place. It also comes with a 'fixed' mount (as opposed to spring loaded) that you can attach to whatever item you wish to hold (GPS or display with screws on the back). The seat bolt mounting bracket didn't work for me so I bolted it to the floor. Overall a few days and very happy with the purchase.
