What seems to have been done very carefully is to disguise the fact that the top (the side that lies flat against the surface it is placed on) is flat and not rounded or "bumped" like the other two sides . What's the point of having this side flat? It's just a lot less effective, or a lot less pillowy, because it's flat and not curved like the other two sides. I paid much more attention to this until I found a similar product at Revain that is curved on all three sides. and bought them. I gave this package to my neighbors who have a young child after I (I think) pointed out the error to them. I actually bought them for four corners on my bar-b-que grill. I got a new grill last month and the corners are very sharp. I was worried they would tear holes in the expensive case I bought when not in use. These little corner protectors (or the ones I bought to replace them) did a great job protecting my bar-b-que lid from sharp corners.
