I wanted to love it

I wanted to love this dog car seat and make it the solution to keeping my 3.5 pound Maltipoo dog safe in his favorite spot on the console when I drive While it's cute, it has a few issues that I'm not very happy with. First of all, the installation instructions were so vague that I couldn't figure out from the photos what they did to the rear straps once they slipped them under the seat back, e.g. B. what they fastened them to? Well, they didn't actually tie it to anything, just wrap the strap around the hinge of your own car seat, but it took me ages to figure it out, you slip the pointy end between the seat cushions and then lift it to fasten meet a woman. end (that you thread through the loops on the back of the dog seat) and connect. It was hard to just tighten and when I tightened it enough I noticed it started pulling the webbing loop off the dog seat so now I have to remove it and attach it to my sewing machine. What a problem. And yet you can never pull the thing all the way down and feel secure, because the checkered fabric cover to which the straps are sewn is loose at the bottom, so it always has some "concession". What they need is a redesign where the straps are fed through the loop-like holes and then through the inner base of the dog car seat to keep the entire device secure. Like I said, it's a cute little seat, but cute isn't cute enough. It's a grossly overpriced $63 for some fabric-covered foam and some straps that don't hold onto your console well. I honestly can't recommend it until they make some changes to make it more secure.
