Review on 🎨 Winsor & Newton Art Masking Fluid (75ml): Protect and Enhance Your Artwork! by Morgan Gilmore

No, I'm sure it was worth it.

I couldn't decide if I would give it 3 or 2 stars because of the weather but in the end he did what he had to do. I did a little research on how to apply this material. People said whatever you do, don't use the brush, it will destroy it. Instead of a brush I used a small craft stick. This material worked well enough and looked amazing when I used it for the watercolor painting. The challenge was getting it off paper. I've known from other artists that your paper will tear if it's of poor quality. I used very strong, high quality paper and it still ripped to pieces. It also left a fuzzy texture where the paper didn't tear. Another bad thing I quickly realized when removing material was that when you paint over the material, the paint would flake off, falling onto the paper and leaving stains of paint where you wanted it clean of paint. Eventually I tested this material on the same paper, but when I finished collecting the material I just left the paper where it was. I left it for about a month and noticed that this material left a discoloration on the paper which was very noticeable after a month. Leaves an orange tint on paper. Use this if you're desperate, but otherwise look elsewhere.
