This is the second KVM I've bought. The first had quality issues and I came back. This one is actually even worse. It doesn't work reliably with my desktop. It either blinks and goes out every 5 seconds or just doesn't work at all. On my laptop, however, it works perfectly. Both devices are set to 4K @ 60Hz and a direct connection between my monitor and desktop/laptop works fine. So it's probably a problem with that KVM. I've tried lowering the resolution to 1080p and the problem persists. Most likely it is not high res, but something else. I was trying to connect KVM to my desktop via a DP to HDMI converter, i.e. Desktop - Converter - KVM. This helped a bit - it helps KVM stay connected longer, but it still crashes sometimes. I'm guessing it's some kind of interference - but since the directional link works fine, it's a KVM issue after all. But since it partially works I give it 3 stars.
