Amazing camera and good lens, MUCH better than the Logitech C920

I hate to post my photos but I had to add a few to show the significant difference between this camera and the Logitech C920 webcam. I've included some photos showing how I installed it between two screens by attaching it to the monitor arm with 3D printed brackets. Unlike a normal webcam, you have to come up with your own mounting solution for this camera. So if you haven't figured it out already, get yourself a cheap table tripod or some kind of mount that attaches to your monitor. Because Revain sometimes packs a bunch of completely different products together, this review is for the camera's 5-50mm zoom lens variant. When I bought it, it cost about $60. I bought it for the first time 8 months ago to try it without knowing what to expect. I originally bought this camera for a more pro video streaming setup at my church and it failed when I switched back and forth with the higher end true pro cameras - low light performance and color accuracy saw quite a bit when switching back and forth seems bad. with a higher quality camera. Finally I returned it. And then COVID-19 happened and I was working from home full-time and attending several virtual video conferences every day. I think the Logitech C920 webcam I used at home did the job, but I was thinking about an upgrade and stumbled upon this camera again. I decided to try again and I'm glad I did. For a home webcam, this camera is pretty good for the price. The zoom lens is great and has fantastic range. It's nice to be able to zoom in on yourself and get a nicely framed picture without having so much of a messy basement office in the video. It's also nice that it has a manual aperture and it works well. In fact, you can focus on yourself and get a little background blur because the depth of field is slightly better than your regular webcam. However, don't expect anything supernatural there. This is not a DSLR. My only real complaint about this camera is that the focus adjustment is VERY sensitive and difficult to get right. You barely touch the focus stick with your finger, and that counts. Once you have the right focus (or even "close enough"), leave it alone. If you try to tighten the set screw, it won't be right when you're done. At least that was my experience. But spend 5 or 10 minutes fiddling with it and then you don't have to fidget with it much, so it's actually a pretty minor annoyance if you don't move your camera regularly. The USB cable is unusually long and also detachable from the camera. I haven't measured it, but it's probably a good 10 feet long. The body is actually metal and looks pretty solid. Not sure if it's actually aluminum or cheap pot metal, but for the price the construction is surprisingly good. Definitely better than your average 100% plastic webcam. For use as a professional camera? Keep searching. For a home or company webcam for typical Teams/Skype/Zoom/any kind of meetings and video conferences? Buy it.
