Good and thick - seals surface irregularities well. Don't forget to tighten!
Dense and thick - ideal for repairing holes and uneven surfaces. After a few races you definitely have to turn. A knowledgeable mechanic friend says to retorque when the engine is hot to account for thermal expansion of the flange bolts. It's still early, but there are no leaks.
