Innovative solution to keep oil soft and fresh

Besides the fact that this is a very nice little saucepan, what I like about this ceramic bowl is that you can butter it in the morning. No more soaking in the microwave, which often results in a complete mess. However, on hot days (I'm in southern Oregon) it gets too soft so I just put the pot in the fridge and take it out again to leave it overnight so it can be applied in the morning. I'm sure I won't have to do that when fall comes. I change the water every day and have had no problems with the oil spoiling or falling out. All in all, this is a practical tableware and a great gift idea.

Pros

✔️ Room temperature and freshness: simply pour water into the jug, fill the cloche with softened butter, place the cloche in the jug and voila! The water forms an airtight seal, so the oil stays fresh even without refrigeration.
