Review on Dayton Audio KAB INT Interface Extension by Jaime Miranda

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There is an on/off button but it looks more like a standby button

requires this board. There are 2 USB ports for 2 amps. So if you only use one port you will get the full 2A but with two devices you will get 1A each. There is also an AUX input if you don't want to use Bluetooth on the amplifier boards. You get a much cleaner sound and a little louder at the same volume settings. There is an on/off button, but it looks more like a standby button. This does not completely turn off the power supply to the amplifier board. To do this, you need to install a switch between the power supply and the amplifier board. The big disadvantage is the lack of a template for cutting out. It will take a little trial and error to line up the holes and connectors.

Pros
  • Two USB ports provide 2A combo charging for multimedia devices
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
