Knitted sock Does not fit in the insert, not a very good buy.
NIGHTMARE items later. My mother bought it for my daughter for her 7th birthday. The machine is excellent, knitting is easy and fun. So the good times are over. The rubber insert is NOT compatible with the knitted fabric. I am an experienced knitter. I had to take a real hook, since the "hook" in the kit has a metal stick, not a real tool, and drag the piece of rope down the rubber ball in the fight for more than half an hour. Then attach the legs, find a hole to insert the face, it was all awful. This kit is a nightmare from start to finish. Do not buy. If yes, first roll the rubber insert in cornstarch,
