I have a new, large leather couch that the dogs decided was theirs while I am gone, so need to protect the surface from muddy paws, dog drool and paw scratches. This couch blanket is large enough to cover all surfaces without falling down. It feels soft, but sturdy and washable (I hang it to dry). The color (subtle blueish-gray) and design are surprisingly nice looking, with an edge trim that looks finished but not frilly. I left an ugly, old blanket under this for extra protection, but am hopeful this helps preserve a costly couch. Will update the review again after longer use and more washings.
